Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) special fiber is obtained by high temperature melt spinning of polyetheretherketone resin. Polyetheretherketone has high temperature resistance (UL temperature index 250℃), high strength (up to 94MPa for pure resin, 210MPa after fiber reinforcement), chemical resistance (except concentrated sulfuric acid, almost insoluble in any conventional chemical reagents), Irradiation resistance (109rad resistance, equivalent to nuclear reactor core radiation intensity), creep resistance (especially high temperature creep resistance, equivalent to nylon room temperature endurance at 150°C), high flame retardancy (0.3mm thick, can meet 94V -1; 1.5mm thick, can meet 94V-0), when fully burned, only H2O and CO2 are produced, no toxic gas is produced, and the high temperature hydrolysis resistance is excellent (under the condition of 200℃ or higher, there is still enough endurance) It has been tested and verified by application in many aspects. Known as ultra-heat-resistant polymer materials, it has been successfully applied in aerospace, aviation, electronic information, petrochemical, automobile manufacturing and medical and health fields.
PEEK fiber has excellent properties. Tensile strength 400~700MPa (breaking strength of monofilament about 25~40cN/tex, multifilament up to 65 cN/tex), elongation 20%~40%, modulus 3~6GPa, LOI value 35, melting point 334~ 343 ℃, long-term use temperature 250 ℃. It has good physical properties, chemical stability, heat resistance and electrical insulation properties. It is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing, and the polyether ether ketone fiber can be recycled and reused, and the raw material recovery rate can reach 90%.
Polyetheretherketone fiber is a kind of fully aromatic fiber, and there are ether bonds and ketone bonds, so that the high temperature resistance, friction resistance and corrosion resistance of the fiber are much higher than those of conventional fibers. Polyetheretherketone fibers are mainly used in the mixed composite materials of structural parts required for aerospace and weaponry, the braided sheath of high-performance wires and cables in aerospace, and the drying canvas of paper-making machinery in the civil field, heat-resistant filter cloth, Heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant textile belts, composite materials (mixed with glass fiber and carbon fiber), high-temperature resistant materials in the energy industry, etc.
